This is a link to a site named Donors Choose. It is not directly related to my project, but it may help fund some of what I want to do and could be helpful to some of you who may need some funding. This site acts as a medium that connects student centered projects in schools with people who want to donate to education. It does state that they notify the principals of the schools for projects that have been posted. Because of this, I would highly recommend making sure you have your administrator's approval before posting a request.

This is a great link which I plan to share with one of my daughters teachers. She is charged with "alternate" learning ideas for the group which ties other classes together. With the current school budgeting issues I am sure more teachers will be looking for these types of opportunities to help fund their ideas.

Thanks for sharing a great sight. I have actually been researching for grants that I can apply for and for other sources from which I can get items donated to my classroom. There are lots of things that I need to make my classroom successful, and the county isn't willing to buy anything. This site should prove very helpful.
